Saanya's Interview with Greg Mortensen

In October 2007, at a fundraising dinner for Greg Mortenson’s (“Three Cups of Tea) Central Asia Institute, Saanya pledged, on a napkin, that she would raise $1,000 for CAI to help girls go to school in the most remote areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan. With the help of her friend Amina, in Houston, they raised $1600.  Saanya designed a special “three cups of tea” card for that project.  Saanya presented the check and a special set of cards to Greg Mortenson when she interviewed him in February 2008.
